Bread Cigar Rolls

Ingredients

  • Bread slices
  • 1 cup grated paneer
  • 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp cumin powder
  • 3 tsp green chutney
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup capsicum, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp green chilly, finely chopped
  • Coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • Butter (for roasting)
  • Salt to taste

How to prepare

  • Take a mixing bowl and add 1 cup of grated paneer.
  • Add all ingredients of stuffing mentioned above (except green chutney) and combine well and keep it aside.
  • Take a bread slice and cut the edges well and flatten it with the help of a rolling pin.
  • Spread a layer of green chutney on the surface of the bread.
  • Now place the paneer filling on one corner and gently roll the bread into a cylindrical shape.
  • Further, heat a non-stick pan and grease it with some butter and roast the rolls.
  • Brush butter over the other sides of rolls as well and roast till they turn crisp and light brown in colour.
  • Serve the cigar rolls with green chutney and sauce.
