Grilled Potato Toast

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 7-8 curry leaves
  • 3 tsp finely chopped green chilly
  • 3 tsp finely chopped ginger
  • 3 tsp finely chopped garlic
  • Finely chopped coriander
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • Soft Butter for spreading
  • 5 boiled potato
  • Lemon Juice
  • Salt to taste

Green Chutney Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup roughly chopped coriander
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 2-3 tsp roughly chopped garlic
  • 1 tsp roughly chopped ginger
  • 1/2 tbsp curd
  • 1/2 tbsp bhujia sev
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • Few drops of lemon juice
  • Salt to taste

How to prepare Green Chutney

  • Take a mixer jar and add roughly chopped coriander and all other ingredients mentioned above.
  • Add water according to the consistency. It should be thick and smooth in texture.

How to prepare Masala

  • Take a deep non-stick pan and heat 1 tbsp oil, add mustard seeds and curry leaves.
  • Add finely chopped ginger, garlic and chopped coriander.
  • Season it with turmeric powder and salt to taste.
  • Add boiled and mashed potato.
  • Finally, add lemon juice and your masala is ready.

How to prepare Toast

  • Take a slice of bread and spread soft butter on it. The butter will prevent the bread to get soggy when we will apply the chutney in the next step.
  • Next spread a layer of chutney on it.
  • Add the prepared potato masala and cover it with another bread.
  • Grill the same till golden brown in colour.
  • Garnish it with nylon sev and green chutney.
