Cottage Cheese Parcels
These little cottage cheese parcels are tangy, tasty, spicy puffed pastry which is filled with delicious cottage cheese filling and seasons with lots of mixed herbs seasoning. You just can’t say no to them. This triangular pocket like shape can make you drool right now.
Pop it into oven for 25 minutes at 180C and devour at home.
Dough Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/8 tsp baking soda
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 cup curd
- Salt to taste
Ingredients for stuffing
- 1 tsp butter
- 1 tomato, finely chopped
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 capsicum, finely chopped
- 3/4 tsp origano
- 3/4 tsp red chilli flakes
- 1/2 tsp mixed herbs
- 4-5 tsp tomato ketchup
- 150 gms cottage cheese
How to prepare
- For stuffing, take a pan and add butter. Add tomatoes and salt and let the tomatoes be little mushy.
- Add onion and all three seasonings(origano, red chilli flakes and mixed herbs)
- Add tomato ketchup and capsicum to it.
- Add cottage cheese cubes and then add little water to the mixture.
- Prepare dough from the ingredients and let it rest for 30 minutes. Knead the same till it become soft.
- Take one portion of dough and make round chapatti. With the help of knife, cut it into triangle shape.
- Put filling in between and cover all edges and give it a triangular shape.
- Brush sugared milk on the same for little brown colour.
- Pre heat microwave for 5 minutes at 180C
- Then put the prepared parcels for 20-25 minutes at 180C
