  • 100 gms boiled corn kernels
  • 2 tsp all-purpose flour
  • 4 tsp corn flour
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 tsp red chilly sauce
  • 4 to 5 drops of capsico sauce
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 pinch of white pepper
  • 1 pinch of red chilly powder
  • Salt to taste


  • 1/2 tsp bell pepper
  • 1 tsp spring onion
  • 1 tsp chopped coriander
  • 1 medium-sized chopped onions
  • 1/2 tsp finely chopped ginger
  • 1/2 tsp finely chopped garlic
  • 1/2 tsp finely chopped green chillies


Method of preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine corn in all-purpose flour, baking powder and corn flour batter.
  • You can add little water to the batter. The coating should be such that it provides proper crispiness to the corn kernels.
  • Deep fry the coated corn until crispy and golden brown in colour.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add butter.
  • Add the chopped vegetables and stir them for a minute or two.
  • Add the fried corn to it. Add the sauces and lemon juice and season it with salt, red chilly powder and white pepper.
  • Sprinkle spring onions and chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
