Dahi Kabab
Dahi Kebabs have always intrigued me. The craftsmanship involved in making this delicate starter is quite easy and it takes a lot less time to make that melt in mouth kebabs.
It is a famous crisp snack starter recipe and is very popular in the northern part of India. Hung curd with some spices stuffed in bread crumbs has a unique taste. This can be eaten as it is but tastes great with green chutney.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cup hung curd
- ¼ cup coriander finely chopped
- 1 green chilli finely chopped
- 1 tbsp ginger finely chopped
- ½ cup grated paneer
- 2 tbsp gram flour (besan)
- 1 ½ tbsp cornflour
- 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
- ¼ tsp red chilli powder
- ¼ tsp cumin powder
- Salt to taste
How to prepare
- Take a deep bowl and mix all the ingredients except bread crumbs.
- Grease your palm with oil (so that tikkis don’t stick to it) and make tikkis out of the prepared mixture.
- Cover it with bread crumbs.
- Fry it on medium flame till it turns golden brown.
- Serve immediately
