Pizza Cones
A couple of pizzas cones a day keep the sadness away. This lip-smacking recipe was much fun to create and even more, fun to eat. Serve these to your guests while watching this weekend’s football game and they’ll be forever fans.
These cones are a delicious hand-held snack that’s perfect for the holiday party. Portable, personalized pizza in a cone ready for tailgating and game day. Good things come in small packages. They are the true version of: I am in love with the shape of you.
Ingredients
For Cone
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (maida)
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp sugar
- ½ tsp yeast
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ cup water
For Filling
- 1 capsicum, finely chopped
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- ¼ cup boiled corn
- ½ cup schezwan sauce
- ¼ cup processed cheese
- A pinch of salt
How to prepare
For Filling
- In a bowl, add capsicum, corn, onion and salt. Mix well and add schezwan sauce.
- You can add a little bit of ketchup if you want.
For Cone
- In a bowl, add flour, sugar, yeast, salt, water. Mix well and knead it into the dough.
- Add oil and knead it once again.
- Cover it with a cloth and keep it aside to rest for 1 hour.
- Punch the dough, flour the surface and then roll it into the dough.
- Cut ½ inch strips out of it.
- Take a cardboard cone, cover them with aluminium foil, grease it with oil and roll the cone with strips of dough.
- Place the cone on the oven tray in the standing position and bake it at 200°C for 10 minutes or until done.
- Fill the cone with cheese and vegetable mixture.
- Bake the cone at 200°C for another 5 minutes.
