Grilled Potato Toast

The add-on part here is that the recipe ingredients are such that it is generally available in our homes. You can use veggies also like onion, tomato and bell paper slices and if you are a cheese lover then you can garnish it with loads of grated cheese also.

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 7-8 curry leaves
- 3 tsp finely chopped green chilly
- 3 tsp finely chopped ginger
- 3 tsp finely chopped garlic
- Finely chopped coriander
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- Soft Butter for spreading
- 5 boiled potato
- Lemon Juice
- Salt to taste
Green Chutney Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup roughly chopped coriander
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 2-3 tsp roughly chopped garlic
- 1 tsp roughly chopped ginger
- 1/2 tbsp curd
- 1/2 tbsp bhujia sev
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- Few drops of lemon juice
- Salt to taste
How to prepare Green Chutney
- Take a mixer jar and add roughly chopped coriander and all other ingredients mentioned above.
- Add water according to the consistency. It should be thick and smooth in texture.
How to prepare Masala
- Take a deep non-stick pan and heat 1 tbsp oil, add mustard seeds and curry leaves.
- Add finely chopped ginger, garlic and chopped coriander.
- Season it with turmeric powder and salt to taste.
- Add boiled and mashed potato.
- Finally, add lemon juice and your masala is ready.
How to prepare Toast
- Take a slice of bread and spread soft butter on it. The butter will prevent the bread to get soggy when we will apply the chutney in the next step.
- Next spread a layer of chutney on it.
- Add the prepared potato masala and cover it with another bread.
- Grill the same till golden brown in colour.
- Garnish it with nylon sev and green chutney.
